Review use of technical information in the calculations for "green building associations" and how to specify the technical information available for large format porcelain tiles. Understand installation procedures and discuss installer's training required by ANSI. Examine case studies on energy savings, recycled contents, and how the "greenest flooring material" contributes to the health, safety and welfare of occupants.

Learning Objectives

Review the new manufacturing process for large format tiles advancing options for designers.
Explore the physical differences between types of ceramics and their affects on construction, from aesthetic options in the design phase, to "sustainable design" options with high graphical imagery and surface coefficient of frictions for every application.
Review the installation procedures and discuss installer's training required by ANSI 108.19-2017 to install large format tiles.
