AIA Florida Legislative Day

Florida’s Legislative Session convenes in Tallahassee on January 14, 2020. Plan to join your fellow AIA Florida members at the Capitol on January 28 for AIA Florida’s 2020 Legislative Day.

This annual event allows members to meet face-to-face with their legislative representatives to educate them about issues affecting architects and the importance of architecture in Florida.

9:00 am – 10:00 am - Legislative Day Briefing and Citizen Architect Recognition, Sittig Hall at Kleman Plaza

10:30 am – 5:00 pm - Legislative Day Visits­

The War Room will be open during these hours in 306 House Office Building. Updated legislator lists will be provided to components as the date gets closer. Please note that no food or drink is allowed in this room. Cafeterias are on the lower level and on the 10^th­ floor of the Capitol. AIA Florida will have snacks available at our office located at 104 E Jefferson St across from the House Office Building.
