Wind Load Design with Overhead Doors

  • Understand how wind and wind load codes affect overhead doors.
  • Learn what factors affect the amount of force on the door-calculating PSF.
  • Understand construction of sectional and coiling wind load doors.
  • Identify the different types of wind load tests and their procedures and understand how to specify wind load rated doors.
