We are an architecture firm located in Pensacola, FL. presently seeking an Architect for the production of residential and light commercial construction documents. The selected candidate must have basic knowledge of conventional construction means and methods as well as general knowledge of design standards and Florida Building Code requirements. They must have the ability to take a design from concept/schematic phase, into design development and through the construction documents phase.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor of Architecture

Minimum Qualifications:
Proficient in Autodesk Revit
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management & organizational skills
Experience in preparing technical and construction documents
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Good working knowledge of current construction materials & methods
Ability to work independently and within our team
Ability to graphically/ visually communicate ideas

This position is a full time position with a 8-5 work schedule, 5 days per week.

BIM Manager

Locations: Destin, FL; Pensacola, FL; Panama City, FL; Tallahassee, FL

DAG Architects has an immediate opening for a BIM Manager with at least five years of experience working with BIM operations. DAG Architects is a design-based architectural firm that has consecutively served the Gulf Coast region since 1981. We currently have four fully-staffed studios located along the Panhandle and are looking to add an experienced individual who is passionate about Building Information Modeling to oversee the successful implementation of BIM use across all offices.

The BIM Manager will oversee workflow, best practices development and training tools to ensure that our project teams are operating at maximum efficiency. This person will help manage and monitor the progress of the BIM workflow between project teams and our consultants with an emphasis on collaboration and communication. The person in this position will stay abreast of everchanging BIM practices and help identify opportunities to leverage technology to continually improve the firm’s design and production processes.  

DAG Architects has IT staff that will support hardware and non-BIM applications. The BIM manager will communicate with IT staff, but is not expected to perform non-BIM related technical tasks.

The successful candidate will:

  • Lead the development of BIM standards, implementation and enforcement.
  • Maintain and improve upon template files, Revit content and content libraries.
  • Problem-solve and oversee day-to-day activities of Revit users.
  • Participate in onboarding of each new team member.
  • Evaluate skill level and provide successful training of team members.
  • Assist Project Managers and teams with project set up and workflow.
  • Prepare and present BIM Kick off Meetings.
  • Prepare instruction manuals for users.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have sound and highly developed technical competency skills in the areas of utilizing BIM tools.
  • The ability and passion to learn new BIM tools to improve workflow.
  • Strong communications skills to aid in best practices implementation and training.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precise technical plans, drawings and models.
  • Ability to apply new ideas and thoughts to challenging situations that elevates the human experience.
  • Ability to work both independently and effectively in a cross-disciplinary team atmosphere and across multiple offices.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous experience leading a team using Revit.

We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to join the High Density (High-Rise) Team in our Orlando, FL office. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing one or more projects from Design Development to the Construction Administration phase and will report to the Project Manager.  This candidate will interface directly with the consultants, contractors, team members and architects


  • ·         Coordinate the completion of design and construction contract documents under the supervision of the Project Manager
  • ·         Research applicable codes and ordinances for assigned projects
  • ·         Collaborate with project team members to ensure contract documents are complete and accurate
  • ·         Lead project team coordination meetings and serve as the primary communicator with the client and consultants
  • ·         Manage construction administration duties, such as requests for information and submittals


  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field
  • ·         8+  years of experience
  • MUST have professional experience in multi-family or similar high-rise architectural projects
  • ·         Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
  • ·         Basic understanding of concrete and steel construction
  • ·         Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a moderate level of supervision
  • ·         Strong written and verbal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ·         Master’s degree in architecture
  • ·         On the path to licensure preferred
  • ·         Prior experience with Newforma desirable
